Welcome – I’m Thyra-Valeska

I guide people through Yoga, Qigong, and Somatic movement — gentle, mindful practices that build grounding, balance, and resilience in everyday life.

Having experienced hypermobility, neurodivergence, and periods of burnout myself, I understand how movement can sometimes feel uncomfortable, painful, or even intimidating — especially in fast-paced or performative spaces.
My approach offers an alternative: simple, mindful ways to reconnect with your body, calm the nervous system, and move in a way that feels safe and supportive — yet strength-building and gently challenging.

If you sometimes feel tense, tired, or out of balance, these practices can help you return to a sense of ease — gently and sustainably.
I teach both in-person classes in Ronda and the Serranía de Ronda (Andalusia, Spain) and online sessions for an international community.

A Different Way to Practice

Rather than pushing or performing, my classes focus on:

  • Relaxing the nervous system through slow, trauma-informed movement

  • Reconnecting with your body in a supportive and compassionate way

  • Building stability and strength without strain — especially for those with hypermobility

  • Finding inner steadiness to meet life’s changes with more calm and resilience

I weave together Eastern wisdoms (Yoga, Qigong, Daoist philosophy) with modern movement science (fascia, biomechanics, nervous system regulation). The result is a grounded, inclusive approach that meets you where you are — whether you join me locally in Andalusia or online from anywhere.

Why Practice With Me?

Because I’ve been there — and I know these tools work.
Irritability, overwhelm, and fatigue are not failures; they’re signals inviting you to slow down, restore balance, and reconnect.

Movement can be meditation.
Breath can be medicine.
Small, mindful shifts can create real change — in body, mind, and daily life.

Invitation

Whether you’re curious about joining a class, exploring seasonal workshops, or simply looking for ways to feel calmer and more at ease — you’re welcome here.

  • You find traditional yoga or fitness spaces too fast, performative, or uncomfortable

  • You’re navigating stress, burnout, or chronic fatigue

  • You live with hypermobility or neurodivergence and want a gentler approach

  • You’re simply curious and drawn to mindful, embodied practice

You don’t have to do it alone. Let’s move, breathe, and find balance together.
